About Kings Dominion
Former Paramount's Kings Dominion is 0.5 miles east of I-95 exit 98 on SR 30. A 300-foot replica of the Eiffel Tower stands at the gates to this 400-acre theme park, which features live shows, thrills and family rides, and a water park. KidZville and Nickelodeon Central are areas designed for the younger set. Among a dozen roller-coasters are Shockwave, a stand-up, looping steel coaster; Hypersonic XLC, an air-launched ride that goes from 0 to 80 mph in 1.8 seconds; and Flight of Fear, an indoor coaster that runs in total darkness. Scooby-Doo! and the Haunted Mansion is an interactive, animated ride geared to families.
Volcano, The Blast Coaster rockets out of a volcanic crater. "Tomb Raider: The Ride" is a multisensory adventure combining an environmental theme with special effects. Swimsuits are required at WaterWorks, where the main attractions are Pipeline Peak, purported to be the world's tallest enclosed dark water slide; Big Wave Bay, a 650,000-gallon wave pool; and Surf City Splash House, a family play station.

Rides & Attractions
There's plenty to do in this wonderful family-friendly place to entertain the entire family, no matter how large or age-varied. The park has thrill-rides for the oldest family members, magical "worlds" to entertain the smaller members and there are even shows for mum and dad.
Thrill Rides :
Anaconda - A steel roller coaster, only dedicated to the strong-of-heart. An adrenaline-releasing 144 foot drop makes this one of the park's most appealing attractions.
Dominator - The name says it all, right? The Dominator is not less intimidating than Anaconda or any other such thrill ride in the theme park. It is considered to have one of the world's largest vertical loops - definitely worth trying (if you can handle it).
Flight of Fear - Don't be intimidated by the name - do try it. It is one of the parks award-winning roller coasters and has dozens of terrifying twists and turns that will make your blood rush.
